The moon is full and people are at peace; the heart is filled with mountains and seas——Mid-Autumn Festival

On the Mid-Autumn Festival of 2025, I arrived on time with the autumn atmosphere – Monday, October 6th. What is even more anticipated is that the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays have been combined to form a short holiday.

The romance of the Mid-Autumn Festival is hidden in the rituals passed down from generation to generation. As early as the Wei and Jin Dynasties, scholars and literati had the refined pleasure of “expressing their feelings to the moon”. By the Northern Song Dynasty, the ritual of worshipping the moon gradually became popular among the common people.

As the Mid-Autumn Festival night approaches, every household will set up an exquisite incense table in their courtyard. On the table, plump pomegranates, crisp and sweet pears, and round grapes are neatly arranged. A few freshly baked mooncakes are placed on top, and an incense stick is lit. The whole family will stand around the incense table.

The moonlight is just right, and the autumn wind is not dry. Wish everyone a happy Mid-Autumn Festival, a family reunion and all the best!
