Lavender is a semi-shrub or low shrub belonging to the Lamiaceae family and the Lavandula genus. It is branched and covered with star-shaped down. The leaves are linear or lanceolate linear. The leaves on the flower branches are larger and sparse, while those on the renewed branches are smaller and clustered. The base gradually Narrows into extremely short petioles, is entire, the margin is outward-curled, the midrib is raised below, and the lateral veins and reticular veins are not distinct. The corymbose inflorescence has numerous flowers, which gather at the tips of the branches into intermittent or nearly continuous spike inflorescences. According to GB 2760-96 of our country, it is a permitted edible flavoring, mainly used in soft drinks, cold drinks, candies, baked goods, chewing gum, etc.

Daily usage

1. Aromatherapy

Add 100-200 ml of water to the aroma diffuser, then add 3-5 drops of lavender oil, or place 2-3 drops of lavender oil on a diffuser stone or wooden chip. Put it on a desk, bedside table or wardrobe, and the fragrance can be released slowly for 1-2 days.

2. Massage

Take 10 ml of base oil (such as grape seed oil or sweet almond oil), add 3 to 4 drops of lavender oil, mix well and apply it to the shoulders, neck, waist and other areas. Or before going to bed, soak your feet in warm water and then take a small amount of diluted essential oil (2 drops of lavender essential oil +5 ml of base oil) and massage the soles of your feet.
